Rolling Stones - Tell Me (1964) |
|
|
I want you back again |
|
You gotta tell me you're coming back to me |
|
You said we're through before |
|
You gotta tell me you're coming back to me |
|
I wait as the days go by |
|
You gotta tell me you're coming back to me |
|
You gotta tell me you're coming back to me |
|
You gotta tell me you're coming back to me |
|
Note |
The first song written by Jagger - Richards for the Rolling Stones' first
album, released in April 1964, and which will
reach a
great success, surpassing in sales the
album of the
same period of the
Beatles (Meet The
Beatles). A basic blues with an ostinato
bass, it is actually a perfect beat
tune, one of
the prototypes of
the genre. Released
as single only in
the U.S. the
following year, reached
#24 in
the American charts. In Italy they have
been given a good version from the Equipe 84 years as
Quel
che ti ho dato (That I
gave you). |
